Feel like you always run into a sticky situation when waxing? Follow these tips to master your waxing style!

Before you wax your legs…

Make sure the hair is the right length, at least 4 mm is ideal.  Exfoliate 3-4 days before you wax – this helps remove dead skin cells and prepares the skin.  Make sure the skin is absolutely clean and free of creams, sweat and oils.  Ensure your working area is well ventilated and that you are properly set up.  We recommend using a pre-wax cleanser prior to applying any wax.

Biggest mistake when waxing at home?
Waxing in the wrong direction – make sure you always apply the wax in the direction of hair growth and that you remove the strip or hot wax in the opposite direction.  The removal motion should be quick and parallel to the skin.  To prevent bruising and discomfort, support the surrounding skin and keep it as taut as possible.

Finish your leg wax like a professional!
Pour a few drops of after wax oil, aloe vera gel and after wax cream together onto the palm of your hand.  Gently rub your palms together and apply this mix onto your legs.
The oil will remove any stickiness, the aloe gel will cool the area and the after wax cream will nourish the skin.  No need to layer, just mix together and the result is amazing.
